Quality Control Technician

Join our QHSE team as a Quality Control Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. Reporting directly to the Quality Control Lead, you will be instrumental in analysing chemicals and supporting both production and research projects to drive the company's growth.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Undertake documentation, maintenance, and QC tasks as directed by the QC Lead.
  • Plan work based on directions from the QC Lead or QHSE Manager to support timely analysis and production.
  • React to changing priorities and adjust planned work accordingly.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in the QC laboratory and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Prepare samples for analysis and perform analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and final products using GC, HPLC, FITR, KF, and titrations.
  • Support routine and non-routine analysis, method reviews, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
  • Enter results into the company’s ERP system and maintain accurate records.
  • Review and approve technical documentation and ensure compliance with QC systems, policies, SOPs, and WIs.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, auditors, suppliers, and clients to ensure QC requirements are met.
  • Provide cover for the QC Lead during absences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Organic or Analytical Chemistry is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Knowledge and experience with analytical techniques including GC, HPLC, FITR, KF, and titrations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory setting and handle various materials and chemicals safely.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of Quality Control experience in fine chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
