Your new companyHays Education is proud to support schools across South Warwickshire. We're currently seeking experienced and patient EYFS Teaching Assistants for roles in Stratford-upon-Avon. Positions are available on a part-time or full-time basis. With over 10 years of trusted partnerships, Hays is a leading provider of education staff in the region.

Your new roleYou'll support Reception-aged children in a classroom setting, working closely with the class teacher. You'll need to be confident with child-led learning, adaptable, and able to support both in-class and small group activities. Key responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting learning through play and structured activities
  • Updating Learning Journals for key children
  • Creating a stimulating classroom environment
  • Delivering phonics interventions (e.g. Jolly Phonics, Read Write Inc.)

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 40 days of transferable child-based experience (paid or voluntary)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Familiarity with phonics frameworks
  • A nurturing, flexible, and team-oriented approach
  • Confidence in giving feedback to teachers on pupil progress
