Salary: £30,705 per annum

Hygiene Operative Overview:
Responsible for maintaining high hygiene standards across production areas, ensuring compliance with Food, Feed, GMP and Health & Safety requirements.
Hygiene Operative Responsibilities:
- Daily and deep cleaning of production areas, machinery, and equipment.
- Strip down and reassemble machinery for cleaning when required.
- Complete hygiene checks and maintain accurate standards.
- Ensure safe use of cleaning equipment, PPE, and chemicals.
- Report hazards, incidents, or hygiene issues promptly.
Hygiene Operative Skills:
- Understanding of (or willingness to learn) Food, Feed and Chemical Safety.
- Previous hygiene/cleaning experience in a production setting (advantageous).
- Physically fit, self-motivated, and proactive with attention to detail.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team, often under time pressure.
- Confident communicator, comfortable in hot, loud factory environments.
- Ability (with training) to work at height and in confined spaces.
- Reliable transport – site is in a rural location with limited public transport.
