Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and ambitious planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their Stratford-upon-Avon team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic planning professional to work on a variety of high-profile projects while progressing their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
As a Town Planner, you will:
Manage and support the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
Undertake site appraisals, planning research, and policy reviews.
Assist in drafting planning statements, development plan representations, and other key documents.
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
Contribute to a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and regeneration schemes.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
A degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning (or related discipline).
MRTPI chartered membership, or be working towards it.
Strong communication and report-writing skills.
Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
A proactive, ambitious attitude and a genuine interest in shaping the built environment.
