This is a full-time, on-site role reporting to the Head of Procurement and offers a brilliant opportunity to grow your skills within a forward-thinking, values-led business.Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure a specified product category, ensuring strong supplier relationships built on trust and aligned with the company’s values.
  • Develop product knowledge including price, quality, and availability insights.
  • Maintain accurate costing models and work with the team on weekly pricing.
  • Visit suppliers and service providers to enhance category expertise.
  • Support the team in delivering annual and long-term procurement objectives.
  • Drive efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Technical teams to meet customer KPIs.
  • Help shape sourcing strategies that maximise availability and sustainable growth.
  • Continuously look for improvement opportunities.
  • Engage in annual supplier reviews and contribute to long-term planning.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in procurement, buying or a related commercial role (FMCG industry experience is a desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ideally experience with ERP systems.
  • Competent, commercially aware and comfortable working with costings.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Good at juggling priorities, spotting opportunities and solving problems.
