EMBS Engineering is partnering with a leading precision engineering company on the outskirts of South Birmingham to recruit a talented and experienced Press Tool Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

Our client is a market leader in the manufacture of low volume, complex precision components for highly regulated industries including the Aerospace, Defence and Power industries.

Due to new client wins and new contract opportunities, the business is looking to expand its design team and therefore, is in search of a skilled Press Tool Design Engineer to help contribute to the design of high-precision tooling for a diverse range of demanding industries.

Key Responsibilities for the Press Tool Design Engineer:
Support the Manufacturing Manager in achieving departmental objectives. Designing jigs, fixtures and press tools for manufacturing processes.

Successful applicants for the Press Tool Design Engineer must be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience working within demanding industries such as Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Power Generation, Medical, or Nuclear.
  • Demonstrable experience in Press Tool design.
  • Ability to independently create and design effective jigs and fixtures.
  • Strong engineering competence with Solidworks or similar CAD packages.
