Description:

This is an exciting role, working directly with our CEO and assisting in executing strategic business projects. You will also discover how we have grown PetShop.co.uk to be the UK largest independent online pet shop.

You will be key to our new business projects, sourcing, negotiating, liaising with suppliers, learning marketing tasks through Google Adwords and email workflows. You will be heavily involved with exposure to current brands including Mars, Nestle and our own brand Huntland.

This role offers an opportunity for the successful candidate to play a vital part in the growth of PetShop.co.uk.

But don't worry, no experience is needed as full training will be provided, so you can learn everything you need to succeed.


Main Job Roles:

The main job role is to work directly with the CEO but also ensure projects are running correctly and to schedule, inclusive of:

Directly support the CEO: Work closely with the CEO helping drive projects forward to completion

Business Development: Support the business with all projects. Helping to develop the business generally, along with our own brands (Huntland, Champers, Country Kitchen and Catch)

Supplier relations: Build strong relationships with current and new suppliers

Project Management: Ensure projects run smoothly and that any necessary information is gathered and provided in a timely manner

Administrative support: Ownership of all administration duties which would usually fall on the CEO

Provide management reports: Deliver relevant reports/ updates/ information as and when required

  • Be positive and driven, so a can-do attitude with ambition to become an integral part of the team
  • Business Acumen A keen interest in learning ecommerce Sales, Buying and marketing skills
  • Be Tech-savvy -comfortable working with Excel and confident to learn new software

Salary & Other Benefits

Salary: £26,000-£28,500 Full-time role (Monday Friday, 40 hours per week).
