Product Director (Risk & Governance)

Salary:80,000 to 92,000 + bonus + exceptional benefits (civil service pension) + Hybrid (Stratford, London)

Our client, a global online non-for-profit organisation that is committed to improving the lives of millions is hiring a critical position for a Product Director to ensure governance, compliance, efficient and ethical delivery of their diverse digital & non digital products.

To be successful, you must have experience leading a multinational cross functional team, experience of product compliance & governance (Ofqual, UKVI, safeguarding, AI ethics, EDI) and strong capabilitiesin Agile & Waterfall methodologies.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams to achieve customer-centric outcomes.
  • Define and implement product delivery strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Establish governance standards and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive agile methodologies and continuous improvement across product teams.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and vendor performance.
  • Oversee financial planning, cost control, and ROI measurement for product delivery.
  • Integrate cybersecurity, data protection, and ethical standards into delivery processes.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Industry experience within a large digital online organisation (preferably Ed-Tech, Non for Profit or Government but not essential)
  • Strong experience in Product governance & compliance (Ofqual, UKVI, safeguarding, AI ethics, EDI)
  • Experience within integrating cybersecurity and data protection standards.
  • Proven experience in product delivery and governance, with strong knowledge of agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum).
  • Expertise in budget management, vendor management, and ROI analysis.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
