Our client, a specialist accountancy, tax and business advisory firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join their small friendly team on a part-time basis. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns, tax computations from client records, for; sole traders, partnership and limited companies
- Assisting clients with their financial record keeping
- Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, capital gains tax computations, IHT
- Excellent customer service and being the day-to-day point of contact for clients
- Liaising with clients including on-site visits when required
- Possibility to participate in networking and business development along with supporting at training events
Skills and experience required:
- Â ACCA / ACA full or part qualified OR AAT qualified with a solid knowledge of accounting standards
- Previous experience of working within a practice environment at an Accounts Semi Senior level is essential
- Experience of business within the agricultural and rural sector is desirable
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP’s)
- Experience with accounting software CCH and cloud accounting software
- Confident, friendly, and self-motivated as you will be required to work on your own sometimes
