Our client, is seeking a dynamic NEC4 Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to significant highway infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the delivery of highway projects under the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract
- Overseeing commercial aspects of infrastructure projects to ensure compliance and successful delivery
- Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to build strong relationships and secure project outcomes
- Ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with CDM Regulations
- Managing multi-disciplined teams to drive project success
- Providing technical guidance and support to project teams
- Effectively communicating project progress and updates to all stakeholders
- Utilising MS Project for project management and scheduling
Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Degree qualified in engineering or a relevant subject
- UK experience with public, private, or third-sector clients
- Detailed knowledge of NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (all options)
- Extensive technical knowledge and project experience in highway engineering
- Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects using NEC3 or 4
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations
- Ability to build and influence relationships in a client-facing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in people management within diverse, multi-disciplined teams
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation
- Working knowledge of MS Project
- APM/PMP or PRINCE 2 Practitioner certification
