A large solar EPC client of ours are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to work on their ground mount solar farm project in the Gloucestershire area.
This would be a 8-10 week contract starting ASAP. For this role, you MUST have previous experience working on large-scale ground mount solar farms and have all the required certifications.
Key Responsbilities:
- Supervise mechanical works, including assembly and installation of solar structures.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to maintain progress and quality.
- Monitor daily work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe working practices.
- Inspect and verify mechanical installations against drawings and specifications.
- Report progress, issues, and solutions to the Project Manager.
- Assist in resolving technical challenges on-site.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and any variations.
Requirements:
- CSCS Card
- SSSTS/SMSTS
- First Aid (3-day)
- Previous experience of working on a large-scale ground mount solar farm
- Availability to work on Saturdays
