Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, including management and statutory accounts.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making and business performance.
  • Oversee external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors and stakeholders.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Enhance financial systems and processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Profile

The Successful Candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with demonstrated experience in senior financial roles.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and managing external audits.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
  • Hands-on and methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experienced in mentoring teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, growing organisation with a focus on continuous improvement.
