This role will see the suitable individual involved with a wide range of mechanical work on a variety of vintage propellers. The right candidate will have an passion for anything classic - cars, motorbikes or planes and be from a hands on mechanical engineering background.

The Role:

  • Co-Ordinate the processes involved in each propeller overhaul
  • Disassemble and clean propellers for overhaul inspection
  • Visual inspection of parts for wear and damage
  • Accurate measurement of parts ot check for compliance with maintenance data
  • Identify new parts required to rebuild propellers
  • Propeller blade overhaul, including sanding of blades for painting, frequency check and static balance
  • Upkeep of paperwork records for each overhaul

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a hands on role
  • Ability to read and understand technical data, manuals, drawings and specifications
  • Passion for classic/vintage vehicles or aircraft
