Position: Electrical Fitter
Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum
My client is a leading designer and manufacturer of refuelling solutions and systems for a range of industries including Marine, Aviation and Defence. They are now looking to hire an Electrical Fitter to join their established team in Stroud. The ideal candidate will come from an Assembly and Production, will be familiar and proficient with creating looms and wiring harnesses and will have experience in the aviation or
defence sector.
Mechanical Fitter Job Overview
- Completing Engineering duties for sub-assembly production, fitting and final assembly
- Assembling Electronic sub-assemblies
- Assisting with the build of wiring harnesses and looms
- Using a variety of hand and power tools in assembly and quality assurance
- Electrical assembly, wiring, terminating connections and monitoring / inspecting own work.
Mechanical Fitter Job Requirements
- Previous experience in an Electrical Fitting / Assembly position
- Able to work from Engineering drawings / schematics
- Circuitry knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrics
- Defence or Aviation background would be beneficial
- Knowledge of electrical assembly and the ability to read electrical schematic drawings
- Based within a commutable distance of Stroud
Mechanical Fitter Salary & Benefits
- Salary: 30,000 - 35,000
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 14:00 (40 hours)
- 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
- 2 Company bonus schemes
