Job Description:

We are currently working with a school based in Gloucester who are seeking a teacher to work within the primary school supporting children with SEMH. This class is a KS1 class made up of 12 students and 3 teaching assistants.

This role comes with full class room responsibility; all planning will need to be completed however support from the other KS1 teachers will be provided. The school are looking for a teacher who is confident working with SEMH students and challenging behaviour. You will be provided PPA time during your week.

This school have strong values and they are looking for a teacher who can help teach these values to the students within the school. They are a supportive team who do lots of work collaboratively.

This role is open to ECTs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working full time within the classroom
  • Deliver the national curriculum to the KS1 class.
  • Support with all planning for the class - PPA time is provided.
  • Support with behaviour managment within the classroom and the school as a whole

Requirements:

  • You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
  • Creative and passionate class teacher who has a great understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Teachers who are happy to work with the school and leadership team to deliver the school values
  • Someone who has high expectations of from their pupils and supports them with their development across the year.
