My client is looking for a commercially astute professional to join their client-facing team, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial. This role sits at the heart of project delivery, with a strong focus on planning, cost control, and ensuring projects progress smoothly from early engagement through to completion. You will work closely with clients and project teams to help shape, manage, and deliver complex construction schemes in line with agreed objectives.

From the early stages, you will be heavily involved in procurement and tender activities. This will include developing detailed cost plans and financial models, preparing pricing and tender documentation, and supporting the full tender process from issue through to evaluation and negotiation. You will play a key role in managing tender queries, assessing submissions on both commercial and contractual grounds, and supporting the selection of the right delivery partners, while ensuring compliance with agreed procedures and contract frameworks.

Once projects are live on site, you will continue to provide commercial leadership, overseeing valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts. The role requires someone with proven experience in a similar position within the construction sector, ideally on technically demanding projects in industries such as industrial, manufacturing, food and beverage, or logistics. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders are essential to succeed in this position.
