Science Teacher
Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a motivated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school located in Stroud. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-thinking and supportive educational setting, with the role expected to run for two terms, and potential for extension.
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Contract Type: Full-time, temporary (two terms)
- Salary: MPS/UPS - dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Science lessons across Key Stages
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics up to GCSE level
- Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with national standards
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning through strong classroom management skills
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to the development of a dynamic and ambitious Science department
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge across the science disciplines
- Experience teaching Science up to GCSE level
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love for science
- Skilled at engaging learners of all abilities
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
