Science Teacher

Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a motivated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school located in Stroud. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-thinking and supportive educational setting, with the role expected to run for two terms, and potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Science lessons across Key Stages
  • Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics up to GCSE level
  • Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with national standards
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning through strong classroom management skills
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and ambitious Science department
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge across the science disciplines
  • Experience teaching Science up to GCSE level
