A forward-looking and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Stroud is seeking a knowledgeable and committed SENCO to lead its special educational needs provision from September. This is a school with a clear vision for inclusion and diversity, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The role will involve overseeing the SEND register, managing EHCPs, leading interventions, and working closely with pastoral teams, families, and external agencies.
The school has a strong team of Learning Support Assistants, a dedicated SEND base, and a culture of reflective practice and collaboration. As SENCO, you will be part of the extended leadership team and will have a real voice in shaping policy and provision.
