TeachMatch is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sports Coach to work with Primary and Secondary schools in Stroud.

This role involves supporting a group of students who may exhibit challenging behaviours and face significant barriers to learning.

As part of this position as a Sports Coach, you will collaborate closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and other professionals to ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive both academically and socially. The successful candidate will begin on a term-to-term basis, with the potential for extension throughout the academic year.

  • Key Responsibilities of the Sports coach:
  • Work with a designated group of students.
  • Utilize your sports expertise to enhance student engagement and learning.
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment in a ‘Good’ rated school as a sports coach.
  • An excellent opportunity for sports graduates seeking paid experience before pursuing a PGCE.

Whilst working with small groups, you will have the support of the senior leadership team to develop your understanding of the national curriculum and further your professional skills.
