I hope you're well. I'm currently working with a P/E-backed company that provides highway management services and is looking for an experienced Fleet/Procurement professional for a 6-month interim assignment.
This role can be done 100% remote.
The role involves:
- Reviewing the current fleet of 1,100 vehicles (mostly light commercial with some modified vehicles)
- Developing a fleet procurement strategy to optimise efficiency and reduce costs
- Running a supplier tender and making recommendations to senior stakeholders
This is an outside IR35 role with a day rate up to 420 based on full-time days, though part-time options could be considered.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience managing commercial fleets (construction, utilities, roadside assistance, or similar)
- Led strategic procurement projects and can present with gravitas to senior management
- Ideally, experience with modified vehicles or complex fleet setups
