Logistics Manager
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
Location: Ripon
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

We are recruiting for a growing business based in Ripon that is looking to appoint an experienced Logistics Manager to join their expanding team.

You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and processing of all commodity movements. This key role reports directly to the Managing Director, with the potential to manage people as the department develops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing bulk and bagged deliveries including import and export
  • Negotiating rates and terms with logistics providers to drive cost savings and growth
  • Managing contractual obligations within purchase and sales contracts
  • Liaising with internal teams regarding contract allocations, movements, and credit limits
  • Communicating with customers and suppliers on collections and deliveries
  • Managing logistics trade accreditations
  • Recording, reconciling, and communicating stock levels
  • Processing logistics invoices
  • Generating reports detailing logistics activity
  • Providing excellent service to suppliers and customers
