Are you a detail-oriented Management Accountant with an understanding of stock and inventory control? We're working with a successful and growing business to recruit a capable Management Accountant to play a critical role in driving financial performance and stock accuracy.

This role is based in Stduely and with a competitive salary of £38,000 - £40,000 and a great benefits package.

The Company

Our client is a well-established organisation with a strong reputation in their sector. Due to growth and business expansion, they are seeking a confident and commercially minded Management Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce timely and accurate management accounts and financial reports

  • Own and manage the stock accounting process, ensuring accurate stock valuation and reporting

  • Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to improve stock controls and minimise discrepancies

  • Analyse stock variances, cost of goods sold, and inventory provisions

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes

  • Report financial performance and key stock metrics during monthly management meetings

  • Assist with process improvements and systems implementation as required

  • Provide financial insight and support to senior management

Key Requirements:
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience

  • Ideally experience in a Management Accountant role with a strong focus on stock and inventory management - or a desire to learn

  • Solid understanding of costing, stock reconciliations, and inventory reporting

  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
