The Electrician position is available in the Redditch, Birmingham, and Coventry areas with Build Recruitment.
Candidates should have EICR testing experience and ideally possess a CSCS Gold Card, AM2, 18th Edition, and 2391 certification.

Redditch / Birmingham / Coventry

At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK.

Our client is looking for an experienced Electrician to join their Living Space team on a responsive maintenance contract in the Redditch/Birmingham/Coventry area.

The primary focus of this role will be to carry out the Electrical Installation Condition Report as well as additional tasks to achieve first time fix and deliver a high standard of workmanship in a timely and productive manner always affording excellent customer service to the client.

Experience in social housing maintenance is desired but not essential.

The salary for this Electrician role is £38,000 per annum and you will also receive a van and fuel card.

42.5 hours working per week.

Flexible working.

Key Accountabilities will include:

Undertaking repair/ renewal works within your Electricians remit and work with associated trades
Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports
Ensure maintenance work is undertaken safely and in accordance with all technical standards
Communicate effectively with residents, scheduler and line manager
Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements
Remain up-to-date with technical and legal requirements of skill area
Working in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs, if required
Completing time sheets work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA

Requirements needed for this role:

- EICR testing experience

- CSCS Gold Card / AM2

- 18th Edition

- 2391

- Driving Licence
