Bennett and Game are working alongside one of the UK's leading providers of heavy lift, abnormal load, and specialist transport services. They are currently looking to bring in an Installations Operative. The business is based in Studley.
Installations Operative Job OverviewWork with company projects / Installation team on carrying out safely and efficiently all aspects of installations work including but not limited to jacking, skidding and lifting.
- To work primarily as part of the project team.
- Perform role based at head office and working at various sites across the UK
- Adhere to all third-party site rules and procedures.
- Attend job appropriate inhouse and external training courses when requested.
- To carry out jacking and skidding operations as instructed by Site Supervisor/ Project Manager and in accordance with the project RAMS.
- The operation of plant and machinery after receiving appropriate training and certification
- Responsible to report any problems, malfunctions, accidents or incidents to Operations Manager, Project Manager or Site Supervisor.
- Assist with maintenance of company's equipment
- Good knowledge of the Heavy Lift industry
- Full driving licence
- Site experience in engineered construction
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills; both personal and professional
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own
- Travel, nights away will be required for varying durations.
- CITB Safety Passport / CSCS labourers' card - Essential
- Salary - £15.00ph or more based on experience
- 40 + hours per week as required
