A company that is part of a large multi-national group in manufacturing industrial machinery, has an opportunity for a proactive and confident Shipping Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all shipping documentation, liaising with overseas customers, and ensuring smooth and efficient deliveries. You will be a key player in ensuring our products are delivered on time and meet all necessary export compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process export shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international regulations.
- Liaise with overseas customers, providing excellent customer service and timely updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure shipments are prepared and dispatched on schedule.
- Handle any issues that arise during the shipping process, from delays to customs inquiries, finding effective solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export procedures and industry best practices.
- Support warehouse and factory operations to ensure shipping needs are met.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in export logistics and shipping documentation.
- Strong knowledge of export procedures and working with overseas clients.
- Confident, outgoing, and able to handle challenges with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with a willingness to adjust when necessary.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:45
- Friday 08:00 - 13:00
