One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Loaderon a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.

Overview:

  • This role is essential in delivering our ambition to be safe, clean and sustainable as well as ensuring the Council can deliver on its commitment to provide a high performing recycling service.
  • This is a vital function to ensure recycling and waste collections are undertaken in a professional, efficient and safe manner.

Responsibilties:

  • To collect waste from households and businesses as determined by the Councils recycling and waste strategy and collection schedules from a variety of receptacles/bins.

  • To monitor contamination in recycling collections (dry, food and garden waste) and undertake subsequent procedures.

  • To work with a positive attitude - constructively and effectively as part of a team.

  • To follow and comply with all Safe Working Practices, procedures and Health and Safety Policies.

  • Undertake any training that is required to undertake your role safely and effectively.

  • To report any incidents/concerns to your Area or Deputy Supervisor immediately.

  • To ensure that all relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner as requested by your Supervisors.
