Looking to make a real impact in food safety and hygiene? A leading manufacturer is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to drive hygiene excellence and compliance across its production site in Sudbury.



What You'll Do:

  • Lead Hygiene Standards: Own the pathogen monitoring program and respond to non-conformities with precision.
  • Pest Control Oversight: Ensure pest management is proactive, compliant, and audit-ready.
  • Cleaning Compliance: Champion best practices in cleaning and sanitation across all operational zones.
  • Audit & Regulation: Support internal/external audits and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and other key standards.
  • Training & Culture: Deliver food safety and GMP training, embedding a hygiene-first mindset across teams.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Stay ahead of evolving standards and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies.


What You'll Bring:

  • Degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry, or food science.
  • 3-5 years in a hygiene or food safety role.
  • Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks and audit processes.
