- Deliver and maintain outstanding care, ensuring the children’s progress and wellbeing are at the heart of all decisions.
- Oversee daily operations and strategic development of the home.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide therapeutic support tailored to each child’s needs.
- Act as a positive role model, fostering trusting relationships with both children and staff.
- Mentor staff, organise work rotas, facilitate QCF Level 3 training, and manage performance reviews.
- Manage the home’s budget and ensure financial efficiency.
- Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children and young people in your care.
- Minimum 3 years’ senior management experience in a similar residential children’s environment.
- Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
- Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
- Strong knowledge of The Children Act 1989, Children’s Home Regulations, and safeguarding practices.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- Flexibility to work on-call and provide out-of-hours support.
