The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing and must be confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts and assemblies.
- Accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Use a variety of measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges.
- Identify, record, and report non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure all inspection records and reports are completed in line with company procedures.
- Liaise closely with production and engineering departments to maintain product quality standards.
- Support quality audits and compliance with ISO and internal quality standards.
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and quality control processes.
- Proficient in the use of inspection and measurement tools.
- High attention to detail with a proactive and methodical approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
