We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Financial Controller to join a market leading and fast paced business, based in Suffolk.�
The focus of this role is to act in a commercial and operational capacity to the operations team and supporting the various production teams by producing accurate, timely and useful information.�
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product costings across the business.
- To drive ownership and understanding of overheads.
- Challenge and assist to help drive cost savings/efficiencies.
- Implement concise, accurate and timely reporting of variances.
- Provide realistic and challenging forecasts.
- Implement / report and review key financial targets.
- Identify, implement and measure Business Improvement Performance projects to ensure achievement of annual targets.
- Ensure projected capital spend is in line with forecasts.
- Provide insight and analysis to influence key business decisions and promote this amongst the operation functions.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activity across the organisation, ensuring that risks/opportunities/strategy are core.
You will be a qualified Accountant, or qualified by experience, with proven experience of manufacturing and operational accounting. You will have an engaging approach and the ability to build and strengthen relationships whilst also promoting strategy throughout a large organisation. A background in manufacturing will be required for this role.�
