Are you a confident communicator with a passion for building client relationships and driving business growth? We're looking for a Commercial Executive to join our dynamic team, supporting both retained and new clients across air, sea, and road freight services.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with "House Account" clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and new business.
  • Sales Support & Quotations: Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to prepare quotations, rate cards, and tailored proposals.
  • Customer Onboarding: Guide new clients through the setup process, ensuring smooth integration into RIF systems and clear communication of terms.
  • Sales Activity & Reporting: Document all client interactions, update CargoWise and ShareDrive, and maintain a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Target Achievement: Monitor performance against sales targets, analyse account activity, and support action plans to drive growth.
  • Trade Lane Development: Work with overseas partners to identify and support strategic sales initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities meet legal and regulatory standards, including GDPR.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in a commercial or sales role within logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., CargoWise) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of import/export processes across air, sea, and road is a plus.
