About the Role
We're on the lookout for a Mechanical Assembler to join our Air Technology team in Sunbury-on-Thames. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for assembling our high-quality fans and heaters, ensuring everything is built to specification, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble fans and heaters in line with technical drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Operate hand tools, machinery, and measuring equipment
- Perform quality checks, tests, and inspections on assembled products
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Maintain an organised, clean, and safe work area
- Accurately record production activity and any issues encountered
- Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities
- Support team members and cross-departmental work as required
- Follow all Health & Safety protocols and company procedures
- Assist with training colleagues and supporting other teams where necessary
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of mechanical (and ideally electrical) systems
- Soldering skills and experience with small component assembly (like model kits) would be an advantage
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Methodical, logical, and able to work independently
- Self-motivated, professional, and able to handle pressure
- Comfortable using basic IT systems
