About the Role
We're on the lookout for a Mechanical Assembler to join our Air Technology team in Sunbury-on-Thames. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for assembling our high-quality fans and heaters, ensuring everything is built to specification, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble fans and heaters in line with technical drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Operate hand tools, machinery, and measuring equipment
  • Perform quality checks, tests, and inspections on assembled products
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Maintain an organised, clean, and safe work area
  • Accurately record production activity and any issues encountered
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities
  • Support team members and cross-departmental work as required
  • Follow all Health & Safety protocols and company procedures
  • Assist with training colleagues and supporting other teams where necessary


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
  • Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of mechanical (and ideally electrical) systems
  • Soldering skills and experience with small component assembly (like model kits) would be an advantage
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
  • Methodical, logical, and able to work independently
  • Self-motivated, professional, and able to handle pressure
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems
