Senior Engineer – Sustaining
Location: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Sunbury on Thames, TW16

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Sustaining to join a multi-disciplinary team supporting aerospace, rail, oil & gas, and land-based systems. This is a hands-on role ensuring continuity of supply, resolving in-service product issues, and driving improvements in yield, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve production and in-service product issues.
- Define corrective actions, alternatives, or redesigns to address yield, delivery, or performance challenges.
- Support production assembly and test teams with data capture and troubleshooting.
- Visit customers and suppliers when required to resolve in-service or product-related issues.
- Produce and review engineering documents, drawings, and reports to a high standard.
- Collaborate across mechanical and electronic engineering teams to deliver sustaining solutions.
- Contribute to proposals and costings for updates to legacy products.
About You:
- Strong background in mechanical design engineering with knowledge of basic electrical controllers, relays, and discrete electronics.
- Proven ability to analyse problems and propose effective technical solutions.
- Experience supporting in-service investigations and supplier collaboration.
- Skilled in creating and reviewing technical documentation.
- Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams with a solutions-focused mindset.
