Estimating Coordinator

My client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support their regional team in managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and coordinating the commercial processing of new orders. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely responses to clients, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process. You will:
- Manage the Regional enquiry inbox and maintain accurate, up-to-date regional trackers
- Prepare and issue accurate, timely proposals and documentation tailored to each quotation
- Collaborate closely with Business Developers to qualify and prioritise enquiries for quotation
- Ensure all relevant CRM fields are completed accurately and consistently
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external customers, providing technical support via telephone and written communication
- Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates
- Manage the commercial processing of new equipment sales orders within the CRM system
- Verify order details against original quotations and manage quote acceptance administration
- Input project details into relevant trackers to support project visibility and control
- Liaise with the Finance Department to conduct credit checks and monitor payments required prior to design commencement
- Coordinate the formal handover of projects to the Commercial Design Team, highlighting special requirements, timelines, and payment terms
The ideal candidate will:
- Have GCSE level education or equivalent, preferably A Level Education
- Have previous experience working in a busy office environment, ideally with some construction industry knowledge
- Have strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Be highly numerate and articulate, with exceptional attention to detail
- Have excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise workload effectively
- Be self-motivated, proactive, and KPI-driven, with experience working to individual and team targets
- Have the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM Systems
- Ideally have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Be commercially aware, with an understanding of pricing and value propositions
