Road Freight Coordinator - Heathrow
We're looking for a hands-on European Road Freight Coordinator to manage the full operational process for import and export shipments, with a focus on groupage movements. This is a fast-paced role covering everything from booking and documentation to liaising with hauliers and ensuring smooth customs processes. This role will be based in Sunbury-on-Thames.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00-17:30
Salary: Up to 35,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate start-to-finish groupage shipments across UK and EU routes.
- Manage transport bookings, collections, and final deliveries.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication with customers and carriers.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve delays or issues.
- Support customs processes including GMR, GVMS, ENS, and T1 documentation.
- Understand and apply procedures such as Home Use, IPR, TA, CW, as required.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update systems accordingly.
Requirements:
- Experience in European road freight operations for a UK based freight forwarder, ideally with groupage.
- Solid understanding of import/export processes and basic customs knowledge.
- Comfortable using freight systems and documentation platforms.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities under pressure.
- Proactive, organised, and team-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of HS codes, POA, and PVA is useful but not essential.
