Location: Sunbury-on-Thames (near Heathrow)
Shift: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off | 6am - 6pm
Salary: Up to 37,000

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading, multi-site freight forwarder who are seeking an experienced Air Freight Import Operator to join their expanding team. This role has arisen due to growth and offers an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established business that has a strong reputation within the industry.

The package:

• Salary up to 37,000
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (6am - 6pm)
• 22 days annual leave to start, rising to 30 days with length of service
• Large, modern office close to Heathrow

Key responsibilities:

• Managing air import shipments from start to finish
• Liaising with airlines, agents, and customers to ensure smooth operations
• Handling customs clearance, compliance, and all required documentation
• Ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience in air freight forwarding (imports)
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and airline processes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
