Join a well-established engineering team in Sunbury as a Mechanical Assembler – Systems, working on the build and assembly of complex, integrated mechanical systems. If you're hands-on, confident interpreting engineering drawings, and skilled in brazing, pipework, and TIG welding, this is a fantastic opportunity to apply your knowledge in a varied production environment.
  
As a Mechanical Assembler – Systems, you’ll work closely with the engineering and production teams to assemble products to specification, contributing to both NPI and ongoing production work. You’ll be instrumental in delivering high-precision equipment used in technically demanding sectors.
  
Your key responsibilities as a Mechanical Assembler – Systems:

  • Assemble integrated systems using mechanical drawings and SOPs
  • Carry out brazing, pipe bending/forming, and TIG welding
  • Fit and assemble pipework, tanks, and frameworks to engineering specifications
  • Support the development of prototype assemblies and collaborate with engineers
  • Follow hot work procedures and apply safety standards at all times
  • Perform quality checks, document findings, and support continuous improvement

  
To be successful as a Mechanical Assembler – Systems, you’ll need

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly or prototype system builds
  • Proven experience in brazing, TIG welding, and pipe fitting
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and SOPs
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Comfortable working with hand tools and mechanical assembly equipment
