Service Planner - Automatic Door Industry
30,000 + Bonus
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Planner to join a leading name in the automatic door and entrance solutions industry. This position will support one of the company's busiest regions, ensuring engineers are effectively deployed and customers receive outstanding service. To be considered for this Service Planner role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Service Planner, Service Co-ordinator, Scheduler, or within a similar planning capacity.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build productive working relationships with engineers, colleagues, and external partners.
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Industry experience within automatic doors or similar field-based service sectors is desirable, though not essential.
- Confident IT skills and the ability to use planning systems effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently plan and schedule engineers across the assigned region, ensuring work load is optimised and workloads are balanced.
- Use available route-planning tools to minimise travel time and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain a positive and solutions-focused approach while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and incoming calls.
- Prepare quotations for remedial works and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Keep internal systems and any client portals up to date with accurate information.

Hours:
- Monday to Friday: either 8am -5pm or 8:30am - 5.30pm (1-hour lunch)
- 1 in 5 Saturdays (8:30am - 4pm - flexible scheduling available through shift swaps)
