KCR Solutions are assisting our client through a period of change resulting in their need for interim support within their finance department. The term length of the contract will be 3-6 months.
Our client is based on the outskirts of Sunderland and operates a hybrid working model. This role will be split between the office location and remote working.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines,.
- Responsibility for the accuracy of the P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Efficiently manage the delivery of interim and year-end audit deliverables ensuring adherence to audit timetable.
- Manage intercompany billing processes to ensure accurate and timely billing to other group companies.
- Accruals and prepayments
- Oversee and approve payment runs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of payments.
- Ensure VAT is appropriately and accurately recorded for all claims
- Assist with audit queries as required
- Other ad hoc tasks as required by the Head of Central Finance and wider finance function
- Maintaining an appropriate control environment ensuring team members understand their responsibility for compliance and risk management

- Support the development of the Finance team, ensuring they are high-performing and well-structured to meet business needs.
The Person
- Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
37.5 hour week25 days holiday + bank holidays3 days office and 2 days working from home
