Are you an experienced Fire Door Inspector looking for your next contract role? We're working with a Social Housing provider in Sunderland who is looking for an inspector to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis.
The Fire door inspector will carry out fire door inspections across the housing associations property stock.
Key Responsibilities of the Fire Door inspector:
- Carry out detailed inspections of fire doors in residential properties, communal areas, and sheltered schemes
- Assess fire doors against current standards and legislation
- Record findings and defects using handheld device
- Provide clear reports and recommendations for repairs, replacements, or remedial work
- Support the organisation's wider fire safety and compliance strategy.
Essential Requirements of the Fire Door Inspector:
- Proven experience as a Fire Door Inspector, ideally in social housing or public sector buildings
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Sunderland
