Barge & Barrel (previously known as Yates Sunderland) has recently been rebranded as a Craft Union and is located on the corner of Burdon Road in the citycentre of Sunderland. The beautiful pubboasts a large trading space, filled with a mixture of high- & low-level seating and some cosy booths creating a more relaxed feel that can be enjoyed all day long. This site is not short of TV and will be popular amongst live sport enthusiasts. On entering the pub, you are immediately greeted with a long, curved bar which spans the room. To the right of this, there is a raised area currently used as a dance floor, which has its own DJ booth built into the corner, perfect for delivering that high-energy, late-night atmosphere. To the rear of the trading space, youll find a pool and darts with even more screens!
