Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (70/30 Mechanical)
Location: Sunderland
Remuneration: 42,000 - 45,000 per annum
Contract Details: Full-time, 2 or 3 Shift Pattern (You Choose!)
Responsibilities:
Join our client as a Multiskilled Engineer Maintenance and become an integral part of a dynamic team! You will be responsible for:
- Performing mechanical maintenance, focusing on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Stripping down, repairing, and replacing motors with precision
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues efficiently
- Carrying out electrical repairs on the production line.
- Collaborating with colleagues to optimise maintenance processes
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations while documenting all repairs and contributing to a positive team.
Skills:
We're seeking a proactive individual with:
- 17th Edition required (18th training provided)
- Strong mechanical skills, especially in hydraulics and pneumatics
- Proven experience in motor repair and replacement
- A hands-on approach and a problem-solving mindset
- The ability to work effectively in a shift pattern
