Jackson Hogg is supporting an established and growing manufacturing business seeking a Production Engineer to support New Product Launches and manufacturing excellence. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation, process improvement, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver New Product Launches on time and within budget, coordinating suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Develop and implement capable, efficient manufacturing processes, considering safety, ergonomics, and material flow.
  • Support risk assessments, technical reporting, and project estimates, and ensure compliance with quality and validation standards.
  • Plan and coordinate parts supply, equipment delivery, and internal/external builds with regular reporting.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and support continuous improvement and DFMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) initiatives.

Key Behaviours:

  • Strong background in process design, PFMEA, Poka-Yoke, and modern assembly/automation techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and project management methodologies.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with customers and suppliers.
  • Adaptable with a proactive approach to solving manufacturing, production, and quality challenges.
  • Willingness to travel overseas as required.

Minimum HNC in Engineering (degree preferred) with an indentured apprenticeship or equivalent professional experience.
