The successful Test Engineering Supervisor / Commissioning Supervisor / Test Operations Supervisor will Supervise Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for hydrogen compressed air systems, lead and motivate a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensure safety compliance, drive continuous improvements, and report performance data to the Engineering Director while collaborating with various departments
Test Engineering Supervisor / Commissioning Supervisor / Test Operations Supervisor will ideally have a Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, supervisory experience in manufacturing or engineering projects, expertise in hazardous areas, and strong leadership skills, with a background in hydrogen, compressed air, or high-pressure gas systems being highly advantageous.Test Engineers with hydrogen, compressed air are also encouraged to apply.
Package:
- £50,000-£55,000 depending on experience

- Supervise Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for hydrogen compressed air systems.
- Oversee and motivate a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Drive continuous improvements in engineering testing procedures.
- Adhere to safety standards and risk assessments.
- Provide updates and performance data to the Engineering Director.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Degree or HNC / HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing or engineering projects.
- Expertise in hazardous areas.
- Test Engineers with hydrogen, compressed air or similar experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities within engineering
- Expertise in high-pressure gas systems and Lean principles would be advantageous.
- Commutable to Sunderland daily.
