Job Summary: We are working with our client who are a Manufacturer seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their Maintenance team on a temporary basis. This may lead to a permanent role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical components and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit mechanical components and systems according to specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Physical Requirements:
