Class 1 Driver (Temp to Perm)

£13.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting a reliable and flexible Class 1 Driver to join our team delivering food products to a variety of outlets. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a great working environment and an immediate start.

Key Details:

• Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
• Start Time: From 6:00 AM (later starts may also be required)
• Location: Sunderland
• Job Type: Temp to Perm
• Start Date: Immediate

The Role:

• Multi-drop deliveries of food to retail and catering outlets
• May be required to drive Class 2 or a van on occasion (flexibility essential)
• Loading your own vehicle
• Occasional handling of cash
• Maintaining a professional and friendly attitude with customers
• Following all driving and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Full UK Class 1 (Category C) licence
• Maximum 6 points no DDR's
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Comfortable with early starts and occasional late finishes
• Willing to drive vans when required
• Good communication and customer service skills
