Location: Sunderland Football Club.

Dates Required: Friday 15th & Saturday 16th August 2025

Rate of Pay: £13.20 per hour

Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced and reliable Line Chef to join our catering team for two days at a busy football stadium. You will be based in one of our kiosks, preparing and serving a range of fast-food items such as burgers, chicken strips, chips, and other match-day favourites. You will work alongside a small team of kitchen assistants, ensuring all food is prepared to high standards, efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, maintaining portion control and quality standards.

  • Oversee a small team of kitchen assistants, providing direction as required.

  • Ensure all food is cooked and served in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.

  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation throughout service.

  • Monitor stock levels during service and communicate replenishment needs.

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a chef, cook, or in a similar catering role.

  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.

  • Ability to work quickly and under pressure in a busy environment.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

  • Punctual, reliable, and professional.

Additional Information:

  • Hours will vary depending on service times, with breaks scheduled during quieter periods.

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to provide proof of right to work.
