The Role:
The Workday Transformation Lead / Senior Workday Product Owner will spearhead a new HRIS system transformation programme. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders to define priorities, optimise current functionality, and explore future opportunities to maximise the benefits of Workday.

You will work with key external suppliers throughout the programme, and you'll be providing leadership to an internal Workday support team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Workday transformation programme, partnering internally and externally to deliver agreed optimisation priorities and uncover new functionalities that drive business value
  • Establish effective supplier relationships
  • Act as a critical challenger to stakeholders, promoting Workday as the default solution and minimising off-system or manual processes
  • Support, develop, and lead the Workday Support team, fostering a high-performing, agile, and collaborative environment
  • Ensure all Workday processes and data management meet internal audit, GDPR, and InfoSec requirements
  • Showcase system performance and identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday core functionalities, with practical knowledge of 'what good looks like'
  • Extensive experience leading HRIS transformation projects, ideally in partnership with external consultancies
  • Skilled business partner, comfortable influencing and challenging stakeholders and holding them accountable
  • Experience of leading and mentoring Workday specialists
