Lettings Manager - Lead and Grow a Successful Lettings Operation

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established property agency in the Northeast, seeking an experienced Lettings Manager or Area Lettings Manager. This is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for multi-branch lettings operations, where your expertise directly impacts business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the lettings team across multiple branches, ensuring targets are met and exceeded
  • Oversee all aspects of residential lettings from property marketing to tenancy agreements, ensuring full compliance with legislation
  • Drive business growth through proactive landlord acquisition, retention strategies, and marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and stakeholders
  • Monitor branch performance, implementing training and development plans where needed
  • Maintain high customer service standards and operational excellence

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven success as a Lettings Manager, Area Lettings Manager, or similar residential property management role
  • Strong knowledge of lettings legislation, compliance, and best practice (ARLA standards)
  • Experience managing multi-branch teams with strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Based in the Northeast with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
