The School and Role

We are seeking a dedicated part-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join the school’s SEN unit in Sunderland, supporting children with high levels of need. Experience with Special Educational Needs is preferred to help meet individual needs and promote progress. The school offers a nurturing, inclusive environment and a supportive leadership team. Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

-       Experience of working with primary school aged children

-       Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-       A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-       An ability to work as part of a team

-          Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
